Linda and Dee
Thanks so much for the great time on Saturday. I think all of us would have stayed  all day if we could have!!!!  There was just so much to learn and absorb.  I hope you plan a lot more workshops--Horses 102, 103, etc. I'll even bring the snacks!!
For me personally it was an inspiration.  I often thought at 65 maybe I'm just getting too old for horses. Well, I have changed my thoughts!! Now of course I just want to jump in with both feet, buy a horse  and ride!!   Age does bring some wisdom with it, and I realize that I need more training  and lessons before I  deserve a horse of my own.

Linda --
Thanks, again, for such a great session today!  Hearing the other women tell something about their involvement with/interest in horses was a good way to open the workshop; I think it helped us to get to know something about each other as individuals, too.
The hands-on work with the horses was, of course, very beneficial.  It has probably been 10 years or more since I have had a grooming session with a horse, and I have always considered that aspect of the horse experience to be as pleasurable as the ride itself.
I pray for God's continued blessing on your endeavors.  So glad you opened up your farm, your horses and your life to the rest of us!!

I had such a wonderful time at the workshop, it was great to be with a group of women who love horses as much as I do.  These workshops are such a wonderful experience, thank you!

Linda,
Just a quick note to thank you and Dee for such a great day and also for sharing your home and hospitality, not to mention the great apple crisp! I left that day with so much more than I had ever expected.

Linda,
For me with limited experiences with horses, the most delightful aspect of the workshop was learning more about horse training theory and the relationship between groundwork and riding. I have been looking for a riding-instruction facility that emphasizes this philosophy!

What sets Linda apart is her commitment to assisting other women to realize their dream to learn and explore the world of horses. The Women Who Love Horses Workshops are an extension of her passion for horses and her commitment to bring the world of horses into other women's lives.

Comment on a horse tack 101 workshop:

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the information on different types of saddles and tack. Thank you so much.  I really didn't know what to expect - perhaps sitting in a classroom situation?  What a pleasant surprise to find that we actually had the opportunity to sit in saddles and ask any question that came to mind.  It was great to be with such nice people.  Thank you again!

Cindy
