LIFE ON A HORSE FARM WORKSHOP -

Cultivate your inner horsegirl, learn what it's like to be on a horse farm.

Spend some time on the farm and learn what is involved in a day with horses. This will be totally hands on for you! We will learn about horse care, including feeding and general health issues. We will learn basic grooming and safety. We will even be mucking stalls! At the end of our day we will relax around the campfire and enjoy a simple dinner with the new friends we have made. No horse experience required.

FEE: $49 - includes meal of mountain pies,(if you've never had a mountain pie you are in for a treat!) side dishes, drinks and dessert)

"Hands-on Horses" Workshop: - Leading and groundwork for respect. Horses understand leadership and respect it. Practice what we have learned in other workshops about how our body posture and body position are seen by the horse and how this relates to our taking a leadership role with the horse. Polish your horsemanship skills. This workshop is for women who have some horse experience or have attended a previous workshop.

"HORSES 101" Workshop: Don't have a clue about horses? This workshop is perfect for a new horse owner or someone considering buying one. Linda will cover everything from A to Z including how to pick the right horse, housing your horse, nutrition, hoof care and vet care, horse trailers, costs involved in owning a horse and more. No horse experience needed. Healthy munchies and handouts included

"Balanced in the Saddle"

Through different exercises we will learn how to be relaxed and balanced while in the saddle. You will be riding in this workshop! Requirements: must have attended one of our groundwork workshops.

* "Journey with Horses" Workshop: Is a group of women who want to explore the unique and special bond between women and horses. Great workshop for women new to horses or with limited horse experience. Healthy munchies and handouts included.
