MY THOUGHTS ON WOMEN AND HORSES:
Without question there is a special bond between women and horses. Horses are beautiful sensitive creatures and we feel a special pull towards them we really can not explain. When we see a horse in the pasture as we drive by we have to look. If we are watching TV and a show or advertisement comes on that involves a horse, we watch. For those of us who are fortunate enough to have access to a horse on a regular basis, there is nothing sweeter than that time spent together. We can be ourselves around our equine friends, no cares about wearing make-up or worrying about saying the right thing. We can be totally silent and still communicate so deeply with our horse.
I've learned many things from my time spent with horses and they will continue to teach me through out my life. They have given me confidence and taught me patience. I've learned I must follow through with my intentions and not be indecisive. What a great feeling it is to develop a relationship built on trust and confidence with a horse. This holds true in our human relationships as well. Many lessons we learn from horses make us who we are. Confident, resilient, caring women...
